Electrolux Wok-a-holic Kitchen Star Boot Camp Day 2
After the very successful Day 1 of the Electrolux Wok-a-holic Kitchen Star Boot Camp, the 14 contenders together with celebrity chefs Bruce Lim, Rosebud Benitez and Jonathan Bautista has once again “wow-ed” the audience with their awesome performance in Day 2.
The day was filled with so many cooking activities that unleashed their hidden culinary talents. The 14 contenders started working as early as 10am while their celebrity chef mentors guided them as they go through each process.
These contenders are so lucky to be taught by the country’s respected chefs

Chef Rosebud taught them how to cook in a wok and how to bake a dish so at the end of Day 2, the 14 contenders were challenged to come up with 2 dishes: one cooked in wok, and one baked using what was available in the fridge. It was challenging and fun because the ingredients were limited so they need to be very creative to come up with good dishes that will please the chef mentors.
According to the celebrity chefs, the plating has dramatically improved — meaning that the contenders are really learning from them. They were reminded though that the comments from the mentors should be taken constructively, because after all, they were in the contest because they were willing to learn and improve their craft.
